Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odin Takoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takoy has chosen Daft Punk - End of Line as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Odin Takoy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Takoy.
Roberts misses with a lunging right hand
and Takoy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Glenn Roberts has been cut.
Roberts looks to score with a jab to the body but Takoy is just out of range.
Roberts throws a big shot that misses.
A jab lands there for Roberts.
Roberts ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Roberts staying out of range there.
Takoy looks to land a combination but Roberts avoids it well.
Takoy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Roberts tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Takoy throws a series of punches but Roberts avoids them all with ease.
Takoy walks into a left hand.
A jab from Takoy misses.
Roberts moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roberts shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Roberts missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Roberts not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Roberts is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Takoy defends it well.
Roberts has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Roberts is working for a submission of some sort.
Roberts takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Takoy is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Roberts lands a nice short elbow.
Takoy wants to control but Roberts is keeping busy.
Roberts is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Roberts seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Takoy is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Glenn Roberts spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
