The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graungaard throws a nice head kick!
Opasen avoids the head kick by Graungaard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Graungaard enables Opasen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Graungaard manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Opasen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Opasen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Graungaard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Opasen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Graungaard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Opasen prevents Graungaard from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Opasen is pushing down on Graungaard's leg trying to pass to half guard. Graungaard is fighting to maintain full guard but Opasen has managed to sneak the leg through.

Opasen seems to be looking for submissions.
Graungaard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Graungaard tries to get out of the position.

Opasen uses his free foot to push down on Graungaard's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Graungaard.

Graungaard has left one of his arms exposed and Opasen doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Graungaard screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
