Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brewster Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junichi Emmeraldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emmeraldo has chosen Mystic Forces as his entrance music. Emmeraldo has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Burns forces his way into half guard.
Burns scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Burns wants to take a breather but Emmeraldo is having none of it.
Burns is taking a breather. Emmeraldo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Burns is working for a submission of some sort.
Burns lands strikes from half guard.
Burns throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Emmeraldo wants to improve his position but Burns is controlling well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Emmeraldo is refusing to be controlled, as Burns sits in half guard.
Burns looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Emmeraldo tries to get to full guard but Burns has control of the leg.

Burns tries to pass the half guard into mount. Emmeraldo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Burns is trying to control the action in half guard but Emmeraldo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Burns is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Emmeraldo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Burns scores with a couple of nice shots.
Burns looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Emmeraldo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Burns is trying to control. Emmeraldo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Burns moves into full mount! Emmeraldo won't be happy about that!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Emmeraldo is desperately trying to improve his position but Burns has a good base and remains in mount.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Burns! Emmeraldo is hurt baaadly! Burns is firing away with more strikes - Emmeraldo is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
