Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's entrance music is system of a down - violent pornography. A fine choice. Khan has chosen Burn it Down by Five Finger Death Punch as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rickson Silva has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Khan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Silva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Khan.
Khan ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Khan misses with a two punch combination.
Khan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A swing and a miss from Khan.
Khan looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Khan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Khan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Khan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Khan misses with a double jab.
Silva throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Khan is looking for a sweep.
Khan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Silva lands a nice forearm strike.

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Khan striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Khan is pushing Silva's head away, looking to escape. Silva manages to hold on to the position though.
Khan looks gassed!
Khan throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Silva is staying tight to Khan's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Khan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Silva slips a nice elbow through Khan's hands, connecting with Khan's forehead.
Khan wants to get back to full guard.
Khan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Khan is trying to stand up here but Silva is controlling him well.
Khan wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
Silva uses his free foot to push down on Khan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Khan.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Khan is rocked!
Silva connects with a bit shot that sees Khan covering up! More strikes from Khan and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Silva is our winner by TKO!
