Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Soriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soriano comes to the cage accompanied by Bebot by The Black Eyed Peas. Benoit has chosen Praise as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benoit scores with a jab.

Soriano connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Benoit's hands.
Soriano bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Soriano, right into the meat.
No joy there for Benoit, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Benoit tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Soriano was well out of range. Poor timing from Benoit.

Soriano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Benoit. That did some damage!

Benoit throws out a loose jab but Soriano uses good head movement to avoid it.

Michael Benoit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benoit takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Soriano moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pablo Soriano will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Pablo Soriano's cut.
That's time! Soriano's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Benoit throws a hook but Soriano blocks it.
The crowd cheers as Benoit lands an impressive looking overhand right. Soriano doesn't seem phased though.
Benoit takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Benoit throws a poor cross that misses
and Soriano counters with an outside leg kick.
Soriano uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Benoit.
Benoit misses the jab.
Soriano ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Soriano shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Benoit throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Benoit takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Benoit gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Soriano is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Benoit is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Soriano misses with the combination.
Benoit is still on wobbly legs! Can Soriano finish him?
Soriano drops Benoit with a big left hand! Benoit is injured, injured bad! Soriano jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
