PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Farha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artem Graf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Farha comes into the arena with Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sammy Farha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Artem Graf!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graf shoots in looking for a takedown. Farha tries to sprawl out of it but Graf keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Farha manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Graf keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Graf dives in and grabs Farha's left leg, looking for a takedown. Farha pushes down on Graf's head and hops out.
Graf steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Farha.
Graf stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Farha shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Graf manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Farha got a little sloppy there for a moment and Graf has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Farha has managed to get both his arms back between Graf's legs - danger averted.

Graf had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Farha defends it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Farha is looking to take a break and control but Graf is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Farha is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Graf sees it coming and defends easily.

Farha is looking to work some ground and pound but Graf has wrist control.

Graf has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Farha can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Farha looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Graf regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Farha.
Farha postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Graf wants to sweep here but Farha controlling him for the moment.

Farha frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

BOOM! Farha connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Farha pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Farha! Graf is hurt baaadly! Farha is firing away with more strikes - Graf is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sammy Farha!
A very excited looking Sammy Farha rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
