Lilburne kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is You'll never walk alone. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chuck Norris was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Norris works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Norris misses with a few strikes there.

Lilburne stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Norris.
Norris throws the left hand but Lilburne avoids the punch easily.
Lilburne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Norris moves away.

and Norris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lilburne thows a body shot but no joy.
Lilburne throws a sloppy head kick
and Norris counters with a right hand to the body.
Lilburne lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Norris throws a leg kick but Lilburne checks it.
No joy there for Norris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lilburne swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Norris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
John Lilburne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norris cracks Lilburne with a hook to the temple - Lilburne is on wobbly legs here! Norris swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Lilburne falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Norris wins by TKO!
