PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Alvez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico Suarez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Suarez tries to avoid it but Alvez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Suarez to the ground. Suarez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Suarez closes the distance and clinches.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Alvez. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Alvez is rocked!
Alvez shoots in looking for a takedown. Suarez tries to sprawl out of it but Alvez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Suarez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Alvez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suarez throws a right hand that Alvez ducks under and follows up with a left that Alvez also avoids with ease.

Suarez circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Alvez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Suarez follows Alvez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
