Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Alb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dirty Hous'. Mauricio Silva had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alb swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva lands with a straight right. Alb didn't see that one coming.
Alb avoids the body shot from Silva.
Silva checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Alb pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Silva punishes Alb's body with a nice straight punch.

enabling Alb to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva throws the left hand but Alb avoids the punch easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silva, as that shot connected.
Alb tries to land a leg kick but Silva saw it coming and moves away.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mauricio Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva motions for Alb to come forward. Silva throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Silva paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Alb creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Alb tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Silva's elbow.
Alb seems to have recovered his senses.

Alb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Alb has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Silva.
Alb walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mauricio Silva dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Alb is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Silva doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Alb crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Alb's bad books for that mishap!
