Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Kallai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Viktor Kallai!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kelly duly obliges.


It looks like Viktor Kallai has been cut.
Kallai tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kelly manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A slapping leg kick lands for Kelly.
Kallai misses with a hook.
Kelly lands a nice shot that snaps Kallai's head back.
Kallai tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kelly counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kallai looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kelly throws a leg kick which misses Kallai's front leg but catches the back leg as Kallai tries to avoid it.

Oooooh!!! Kelly has knocked Kallai down with a huge combo! Kelly steps away and waves a wobbly Kallai back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Kallai is rocked!
Kallai uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kelly.
Kallai is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
Kallai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kelly.
Kallai ducks under a wild hook from Kelly.
Kelly throws a jab but it's blocked by Kallai.
Kallai tries to clinch up but Kelly circles away and keeps his distance.
Kelly swats away the attempt to clinch by Kallai.
Kelly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kallai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kallai ducks under a wild hook from Kelly.
Kelly lands with a big right hook that stumbles Kallai - he's out on his feet here! Kelly follows up with another monster hook that separates Kallai from consciousness! Kallai falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kelly stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dan Kelly!
Our winner, Dan Kelly, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
