Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cotton Mather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Jones had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cotton Mather!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jones motions for Mather to come forward. Jones throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cotton Mather seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mather looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.
Jones misses with a straight left.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Mather saw that one coming.
A big right from Mather misses.

Mather lands a big uppercut and Jones crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jones looks OK. Mather waves Jones back to his feet!

Jones is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from Mather misses.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mather staying out of range there.
Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mather.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Mather throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
Jones lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mather's sensitive parts.

Mather cracks Jones with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mather has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jones to stand back up!
Mather throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mather manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mather lands a brutal uppercut that launches Jones off his feet! Jones tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
