Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Burkshire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Rum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burkshire's entrance music is It's a Fight - Three 6 Mafia. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Red Rum was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burkshire ducks right into an uppercut from Rum.
Rum tries to clinch but Burkshire moves out of range.
Rum buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A right-left combo lands from Rum.
Rum misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice combination there by Rum.
Rum works Burkshire's body with a nice hook.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rum lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Burkshire has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Burkshire and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Burkshire shoots in looking for a takedown. Rum tries to sprawl out of it but Burkshire keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Rum counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Burkshire thinking.

Rum lands a lovely overhand right.
Rum cracks Burkshire with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Burkshire changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rum tries to avoid it but Burkshire manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rum to the ground. Rum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Burkshire's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rum connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Burkshire scrambles back to his feet.

Rum bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Burkshire's head backwards.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Burkshire crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rum - the referee stops the clock and Burkshire gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rum. Burkshire manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
