Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Maka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maka has chosen Island Music as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerry Cho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haka Maka!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Maka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cho's guard.

Maka drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cho manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Maka has Cho in his guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Haka Maka wasn't active enough on the ground.

Some bone on bone action there as Maka checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jerry Cho will probably get the nod.
