Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Zanzaza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoffrey King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zanzaza comes into the arena with John Parr - St Elmo's Fire (Man In Motion) blaring out of the sound system. Geoffrey King will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King closes the distance and lands a one-two.
King blocks a jab.
King takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Zanzaza throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Geoffrey King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zanzaza.
King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zanzaza but Zanzaza pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Zanzaza could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A head kick misses from King.
King throws a body kick that misses.
Zanzaza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Zanzaza takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zanzaza misses with a body shot.
Zanzaza stuffs the takedown attempt from King. King gets slowly back to his feet.
King shoots in looking for a takedown. Zanzaza tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zanzaza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Charles Zanzaza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Geoffrey King.

King shoots for a double leg takedown but Zanzaza sprawls well. He's pushed King's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
King is looking to clinch but Zanzaza is avoiding it.
Zanzaza throws a head kick that misses
and King counters with a stiff right hand.
Zanzaza is breathing heavily.
Zanzaza checks the leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King.
No luck for Zanzaza with that takedown attempt.
King closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Zanzaza is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zanzaza walks straight into a right hand from King - that's dropped him! King jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Zanzaza from any more punishment! Zanzaza complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
