The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Johnson misses.
Johnson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jim.
Jim misses with a body shot.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Jim moves out of range easily.
Johnson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Johnson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jim throws a head kick that half lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson throws a lazy head kick
and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Johnson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jim showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson dodges the punch combination from Jim.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jim tests Johnson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Johnson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Johnson misses with a wild combination.
Johnson gets off balance looking for a body kick
enabling Jim to counter with a crisp jab.
Johnson misses with a body shot.
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jim lands with a slapping head kick.
Johnson is rocked!
Johnson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Jim finish him?
Johnson looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jim is stalking Johnson. Johnson circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Jim, and it's lights out! Johnson really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
