Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lima has chosen It's a fight as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima throws a series of punches but Bear moves out of range.
Bear misses with a low kick as Lima jumps back.
Bear moves out of range as Lima strikes.
Teddy Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bear throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bear fails with the takedown
and Lima counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Lima counters with a nice right hand that sends Bear toppling to the canvas! Bear scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lima finish him?!
Oh Bear is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Teddy Bear's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bear drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bear is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lima has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bear is looking to defend but Lima has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bear! Lima pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bear taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Douglas Lima!
Douglas Lima spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
