Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boot Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ag's entrance music is Iron Lion Zion. A fine choice. Mr Ag has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mr Ag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boot Head!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ag lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Head has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Head and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Head avoids a punch combination nicely.
Head misses with a head kick.
Ag misses with a low kick.
Ag shoots in looking for a takedown. Head tries to sprawl out of it but Ag keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Head manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Head changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A low kick from Ag is predictable there
and Head counters with a big head kick but Ag shrugs it off.
Head dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ag. That did some damage!

Ag fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Head manages to avoid it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Head fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ag has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Head lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ag might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
