Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Squirtle Blastoise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerardo Del Muro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blastoise's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Rolling Stones: Sympathy For The Devil. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Muro throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Blastoise on the side of the head.
Blastoise darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Blastoise is taking a breather. Del Muro says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Blastoise's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Blastoise has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Del Muro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blastoise. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blastoise is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Del Muro is just riding it out for now. Blastoise eventually gives up the hold.

Blastoise working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Del Muro turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Blastoise off and cradles Del Muro's limp body as Blastoise celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Squirtle Blastoise!
Our winner, Squirtle Blastoise, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
