Some wild striking there from Pais.
Rossi throws a lazy body kick
and Pais makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rossi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hugo Rossi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Rossi enables Pais to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rossi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Pais is posturing up here but Rossi has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Pais tries to roll out but it's too tight and Pais has to tap! Slick submission there by Rossi!
