Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tucker Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Santi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Get Off On The Pain - Gary Allan . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santi swings widly with a right hand
and Thomas counters with a body kick that stops Santi in his tracks momentarily.
Santi slips under a jab from Thomas.
Santi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Thomas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Santi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Thomas cracks a nice hook into Santi's ribs.
Thomas moves out of range of the strikes.
Thomas scores with a decent looking hook.
Santi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thomas sprawls well. Thomas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Santi gets slowly back to his feet.
Thomas connects with an inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Thomas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Thomas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Santi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thomas but Thomas pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A looping hook to the body misses from Thomas. Santi does a little dance to reset his feet.

Thomas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Santi manages to avoid it.

Thomas moves into range and connects with a jab.
Thomas clobbers Santi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Chris Santi has been cut.
Thomas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Santi sprawling to the canvas! Santi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thomas finish him?!
Santi is rocked!
A combination from Santi does no damage.

Santi seems to have recovered his senses.

Thomas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Horrible takedown by Santi or perhaps it was just good defense by Thomas which made him look bad.

Thomas scores with a spinning back kick!
Santi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Thomas pushes Santi away with a front kick.
Santi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Thomas lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Thomas is looking to slow Santi down with leg kicks.
Santi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Thomas lands an overhand right.
Thomas cracks Santi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Thomas has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Santi to stand back up!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
