Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zapp Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brannigan has chosen Jackyl -- The Lumberjack as his entrance music. Carlos Gracie is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brannigan avoids the body shot from Gracie.
Brannigan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Carlos Gracie has been cut.
Brannigan throws a head kick that Gracie semi-blocks.
Brannigan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Brannigan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brannigan, pushing him back against the cage.
Gracie misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gracie.
Brannigan works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Gracie goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Brannigan lands a hook that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.

Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gracie sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Gracie jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Brannigan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Brannigan and Gracie has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gracie postures up and lands a big shot to Brannigan's brow.
Gracie throws an elbow that misses. Brannigan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gracie's guard. Nice move by Brannigan!

Gracie wants to pass the guard but Brannigan is keeping the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gracie throws out a leg kick but Brannigan moves out of range and Gracie only half commits.
Gracie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Brannigan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Gracie moves out of range of the body kick.
Brannigan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brannigan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Gracie slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brannigan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brannigan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brannigan!
Gracie tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Brannigan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Brannigan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Gracie throws the left hand but Brannigan avoids the punch easily.
Brannigan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gracie under the eye.
Gracie takes a swing at Brannigan's ribcage but misses.
Brannigan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts.
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brannigan.
A right-left combo lands from Brannigan.
Gracie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brannigan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Gracie tries to score with a low kick but Brannigan moves his leg out of the way.

Brannigan lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Brannigan takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Brannigan thuds a left hand into Gracie's body.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gracie is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Brannigan just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Gracie has gone limp and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Zapp Brannigan!
A very excited looking Zapp Brannigan rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
