PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boner Patrol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Stacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrol comes to the ring accompanied by monster - Kanye West. Stacker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hard In Da Paint by: Wocka Flocka Flame. Master Stacker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stacker leaves Patrol with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Patrol fails with the takedown.
Stacker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Patrol shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stacker counters with a nice low kick that buckles Patrol's knee momentarily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boner Patrol. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Patrol shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stacker as he jumps to the side.
Patrol shoots in but no luck this time.
Stacker lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stacker tries to clinch up but Patrol circles away and keeps his distance.
Stacker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Patrol keeps the fight on the outside.
A jab from Stacker does it's job there.

Patrol shoots in looking for a takedown. Stacker tries to sprawl out of it but Patrol keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Stacker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Patrol throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stacker's waist but Stacker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Patrol off to one side.
Patrol fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stacker avoids it really well and circles away.

Stacker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Patrol's sensitive parts.

Boner Patrol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stacker throws a nice looking combination but Patrol bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

In his post fight interview, Boner Patrol started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
