Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ed Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Chegod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crusher looking to score a takedown here. Chegod is defending well but Crusher drives through and ends up in Chegod's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Chegod wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Crusher wants to stand but Chegod has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Crusher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chegod sprawls well initially but Crusher persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
