PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Bummer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sergei Montoya was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Chuck Bummer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sergei Montoya!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bummer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bummer tries to bum rush Montoya with a series of wild strikes but Montoya uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bummer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Montoya avoids a punch combination nicely.
A big left from Bummer misses.
Montoya gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bummer.
Bummer throws a one two combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Montoya shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bummer pinned against the cage. Bummer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Oooooh!!! Bummer has knocked Montoya down with a huge combo! Bummer steps away and waves a wobbly Montoya back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Montoya throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bummer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Montoya is in Bummer's guard.

Montoya seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

I've got Montoya winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
