Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Mohammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Peezy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohammed's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, M.I.A - Paper Planes. Peezy has chosen 300 violin orchestra as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joe Peezy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohammed throws out a leg kick but Peezy moves out of range and Mohammed only half commits.
Peezy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

so Mohammed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mohammed stays in close to Peezy's body and controls the position.
Peezy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Peezy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mohammed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mohammed throws a right hand that Peezy ducks under and follows up with a left that Peezy also avoids with ease.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mohammed closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mohammed lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peezy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Mohammed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Peezy was well out of range. Poor timing from Mohammed.

Peezy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Mohammed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peezy manages to avoid it.

Mohammed with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Peezy can't keep his opponent in guard - Mohammed advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mohammed is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Peezy!

Abdul Mohammed overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mohammed has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
