Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jean Charles Skarbowsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charles Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira fails with the takedown
and Skarbowsky makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Oliveira avoids a kick to the body.

Oliveira shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Skarbowsky counters with a head kick.

Skarbowsky lands a jab to the nose.
Jean Charles Skarbowsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Skarbowsky.
Skarbowsky pushes Oliveira away with a front kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Skarbowsky swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Skarbowsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oliveira paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Skarbowsky holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jean Charles Skarbowsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Oliveira.

Oliveira ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Oliveira no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Oliveira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Skarbowsky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Skarbowsky is posturing up here but Oliveira has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Skarbowsky tries to roll out but it's too tight and Skarbowsky has to tap! Slick submission there by Oliveira!
