Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kong King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jubal Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett wants to clinch up but King keeps it at a distance.
King circles away from the clinch attempt.
No luck for King with that takedown attempt.
Sackett lands a jab to the nose.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
King stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sackett.
King fails with a takedown attempt.
Sackett throws the left hand but King avoids the punch easily.

King shoots in and gets a takedown into Sackett's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
King loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
King trying to control but Sackett is working from the bottom.
King with a flurry of punches that miss.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
King postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

King is nestled in close to Sackett, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

King takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sackett can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
King wants to control but Sackett is keeping him busy.
King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
King wants to pass the guard but Sackett is defending well.

King not landing any meaningful shots this time.
King content to control rather than advance.
King wants to pass to mount but Sackett is defending the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sackett gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kong King dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sackett as he jumps to the side.
Sackett throws a body punch but King moves out of range.
King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sackett pinned against the cage. Sackett gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sackett misses with a head kick.
King is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sackett sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kong King. That's going to take a lot out of him.

King looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sackett!

King lands a nice shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King wants to control the pace but Sackett is squirming around nicely.

King tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sackett is in all sorts of trouble here.
King with good strikes from the mount here!
King tries to control but Sackett wriggling away.
The referee warns Sackett that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
King landing strikes from the mount.
King with shots to the head and body - Sackett looks very uncomfortable down there.


Sackett is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sackett is still in real trouble! Can King finish him?
King thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Sackett seems to have recovered his senses.
King with the ground and pound from mount.
King landing shots from mount.
Sackett tries to hold on but King pushes him away.
A nice elbow there by King.
King connects with a bit shot that sees Sackett covering up! More strikes from King and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! King is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kong King!
Kong King seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
