Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ton shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McGroin napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
McGroin is letting Ton control him for a moment.
McGroin is looking for a sweep.
Ton misses with the ground and pound.
McGroin is trying to buck Ton off.
McGroin is trying to control Ton's posture but Ton avoids it.
Ton is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt McGroin will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

McGroin shoots for a double leg takedown but Ton sprawls well. He's pushed McGroin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ton darts in and clinches McGroin up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
McGroin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McGroin throws a hook but Ton avoids it easily.
Ton pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McGroin back to the cage. Ton follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Paul McGroin has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGroin blocks a head kick by Ton.
A telegraphed right hand from McGroin misses the target.
A momentary lapse in concentration from McGroin enables Ton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McGroin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
McGroin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Ton stands up from McGroin's guard - Ton perhaps looking for a knockout.

McGroin gets caught napping as Ton dives in and scores a takedown. McGroin manages to retain guard.

Let's hope that Ton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
McGroin regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Ton.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ton fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McGroin to the ground. Ton is now in McGroin's guard.
McGroin controls Ton momentarily but Ton frees himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ton's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Ton wanted to stand there but McGroin had control of the position.
McGroin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

McGroin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ton sprawls well. Ton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGroin gets slowly back to his feet.

Ton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Anton Ton is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Ton just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Well Ton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
