The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knoxx has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ducal is trying to stall.

Knoxx breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Knoxx fails to land with a series of punches.
Ducal tries to clinch but Knoxx is having none of it.
Knoxx tries to bum rush Ducal with a series of wild strikes but Ducal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Knoxx throws a nice looking combination but Ducal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

It looks like Alan Ducal has been cut.
Ducal avoids the body shot from Knoxx.
Ducal throws a series of punches but Knoxx avoids them all with ease.
Ducal is looking to clinch.
Knoxx fails to land the takedown.
Knoxx takes a kick to the side of the head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ducal.
Ducal buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Knoxx throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ducal.

A big head kick from Ducal and Knoxx is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Knoxx is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ducal trying to control the position from guard on top but Knoxx is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Oh Knoxx is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Knoxx is looking to sweep but instead, Ducal has passed into half guard.

Ducal stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Knoxx to get to his feet.
Alan Ducal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ducal lands with a right and another and another! Knoxx is in big trouble! Ducal lands again and this time it's lights out for Knoxx! A quality knockout there for Ducal.
