Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maek Houzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Good has chosen The Boxer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jonny Good acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good swinging wildly here.
A swing and a miss from Houzo.
Houzo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Houzo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Houzo throws a hook but Good avoids it easily.
Good looks to land a combination but Houzo avoids it well.
Good looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Houzo gets a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Good is looking to improve his position.

Good blocking the ground and pound attempt from Houzo.
Houzo throwing shots but Good is blocking nicely.
Houzo trying to pass the guard but Good defending well.

Houzo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Good gets full guard.
Good not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Houzo trying to control the position from guard on top but Good is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Good wants to sweep here but Houzo controlling him for the moment.

Good is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Houzo defends well.

Good is trying to keep Houzo in close.
Houzo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Good's guard.
Good is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Houzo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Houzo's back!
Houzo avoids the strikes from Good.
Houzo covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good is looking to control Houzo but Houzo is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Houzo is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Good.
Good tries to keep control of the position but Houzo is staying busy.

Good lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Houzo.
The referee is taking a good look at Houzo as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Good!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Houzo wants to control his opponent's hands but Good gets his hands free.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Houzo breaks Good's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Houzo advances position into side control!
Good is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Houzo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Good wants to improve his position but Houzo is controlling well.

Houzo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Houzo controlling the action here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good gets full guard.

Good throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Good looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Houzo passes into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jonny Good dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Houzo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Good throws a body punch but Houzo moves out of range.
Houzo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Good can pounce on him.
A lazy body kick from Houzo
and Good counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Good lands a left and a right that send Houzo crashing to the mat, dazed. Good thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Houzo is rocked!

It looks like Maek Houzo has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good connects with a leg kick. Houzo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Oh Houzo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Good lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Good lands an uppercut, right on the button! Houzo tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
