Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Crossan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Awesome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crossan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Diddy Dirty Money - I'm Coming Home. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Johnny Awesome enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crossan falls off balance throwing a combination

and Awesome counters by clinching up.
Awesome slows down the pace here.
Awesome blocks a body shot from Crossan.
Crossan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Crossan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Awesome.
A body shot lands from Crossan.
Awesome fails to pull guard.
Crossan can't find room to land a body shot as Awesome controls the action.

Awesome manages to break the clinch.
Awesome checks a leg kick.
Crossan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Awesome shoots in looking for a takedown but Crossan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Awesome's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Awesome is trying hard to land a takedown here. Crossan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jamie Crossan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Awesome.

Crossan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Awesome manages to avoid it.
Crossan throws a chopping leg kick but Awesome manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Awesome throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Awesome has taken the fight to the clinch.

Awesome breaks from the clinch.
Awesome plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Crossan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Awesome paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Awesome shoots in for a takedown but Crossan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Crossan throws a nice inside leg kick.
Crossan stuffs the takedown.
Crossan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crossan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Awesome momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Awesome takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Awesome looks gassed!
Awesome keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Awesome is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Crossan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Awesome is rocked!
Crossan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Crossan connects with a body shot that sends Awesome's belly button to the back.
Awesome gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Crossan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

A very excited looking Jamie Crossan rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
