Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Guapo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guapo has chosen Hot Jalapeno by Mac Dre & Smoov-E as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hughes tries to clinch there but Guapo circles away.
Guapo shoots for a takedown but Hughes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hughes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Hughes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Guapo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

It looks like Johnny Guapo has been cut.
Guapo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hughes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guapo somewhat.
Guapo circles away from the clinch attempt.

Ryan Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Guapo.
Guapo shoots in looking for a takedown but Hughes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Guapo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hughes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hughes closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Guapo! Hughes dives in looking to finish! Guapo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
