Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Jay Lakay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lakay is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: LOSER!! It was you!!. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakay shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lakay's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lakay's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jackson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lakay for as long as he can get away with.

We're going to have a standup here because Quinton Jackson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Lakay throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackson was covering up waiting for the punch and Lakay finishes the takedown easily into guard.
