Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephan Anton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Haze!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Anton throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Anton cracks a nice hook into Haze's ribs.
Haze misses with a takedown
and Anton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Haze crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Anton - the referee stops the clock and Haze gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Anton. Haze manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Haze looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Anton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Anton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haze circles away quickly and effectively.
Anton drops Haze with a beautiful combination! Haze stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Anton is looking for the KO!
Haze is rocked!
It looks like Danny Haze has been cut.
Anton lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Haze crumples to the floor! Anton milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Stephan Anton!
