Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kabuto Wakizashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Stratton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kabuto Wakizashi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stratton walks forward, straight into a front kick from Wakizashi.
Stratton avoids the head kick by Wakizashi.
Wakizashi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wakizashi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stratton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Wakizashi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wakizashi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stratton.
Wakizashi thumps Stratton with a low kick.
Wakizashi lands a head kick. Stratton smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Wakizashi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Wakizashi.

Stratton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wakizashi's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Stratton forces his way into half guard.
Stratton is taking a breather. Wakizashi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stratton has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wakizashi defend it? Stratton steps over the head and cranks it - Wakizashi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stratton!
