The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Destroyer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Destroyer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Stotch is trying to improve his position.
Stotch gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Stotch gets back to full guard.

Stotch looking for a guillotine here but Destroyer defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stotch tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Stotch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Destroyer wants to stand but Stotch has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Stotch is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Destroyer frees his head nicely. Oh but Stotch has switched to an armbar! Destroyer is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
