Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Atwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Atwood takes the fight into the clinch.
Garcia tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Garcia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Atwood's waist but Atwood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garcia off to one side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A slapping leg kick lands for Atwood.

Atwood closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Atwood decides to stand back up. Atwood steps back and let's Garcia get back to his feet.

Atwood goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Atwood decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Garcia flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Atwood seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Atwood is thwarting Garcia's attempts to control the position.
Garcia is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Atwood scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Atwood connects with a nice short shot to Garcia's temple.
Garcia is trying to maintain the position but Atwood is very close to passing his half guard.
Atwood will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Garcia flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Atwood is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Garcia doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Atwood.
Atwood really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Atwood ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Garcia shoots in for a takedown but Atwood shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Atwood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garcia tries to avoid it but Atwood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garcia to the ground. Garcia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Donk. Atwood catches Garcia right on the button with a cross.

Atwood goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Garcia has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Atwood but great work by Garcia.

Garcia is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Atwood looks calm but he's in trouble here. Garcia gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Atwood is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Garcia lets go of the hold and Atwood can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Tom Garcia really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KINGDOM logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
