The crowd seem to be enjoying Cantwin's choice of entrance music: Whispers In The Dark. Troy Cantwin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Troy Cantwin!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cantwin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A good leg kick by Cantwin.

Martin closes the distance and clinches.
A bit of stalling here from Martin.
Martin is trying to push Cantwin away but Cantwin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Cantwin manages to break the clinch.
Martin motions for Cantwin to come forward. Martin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch but Cantwin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cantwin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Martin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cantwin.
Cantwin throws a hook to the side of Martin's head but Martin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cantwin swats away the attempt to clinch by Martin.
Cantwin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Martin defending well as Cantwin loads up on a big left hand.

Martin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cantwin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Martin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cantwin lands a nice looking body shot.
Cantwin tries to land a leg kick but Martin saw it coming and moves away.
Martin moves in looking to clinch but Cantwin pushes him off.
Cantwin lands a jab to Martin's midsection.
Nice defenses there by Cantwin.
Martin misses the shot to the body.
Martin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Martin throws a looping overhand right but Cantwin ducks down to avoid it.
Cantwin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A big left from Cantwin misses.
Cantwin throws a head kick that misses.
Martin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cantwin moves away.
Cantwin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Josh Martin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cantwin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Martin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cantwin tries to break free but Martin pushes him back against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Troy Cantwin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Martin is looking to break free of the clinch but Cantwin has double underhooks.
Martin wants to stall.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Josh Martin.
Cantwin throws a looping overhand right but Martin ducks down to avoid it.
Cantwin looks to land a right hand but Martin moved out of range.
Cantwin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Martin manages to avoid it.
Cantwin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Martin is out of range.
Cantwin thumps Martin with a low kick.
Cantwin slips a jab and a cross from Martin.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cantwin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Martin attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Cantwin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Martin.
Martin avoids the head kick by Cantwin.

Martin wants to break free but Cantwin has control.
Martin throws an elbow that misses.
Martin has Cantwin pressed against the cage, preventing Cantwin from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
