Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rex Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dum Phuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rex Watson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson misses with a takedown

and Phuck counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Watson's guard now.
Watson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Phuck controlling from the top position.

Phuck got a little sloppy there for a moment and Watson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Phuck has managed to get both his arms back between Watson's legs - danger averted.
Watson has momentary wrist control but Phuck slips an elbow through the middle.
Phuck seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Watson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Phuck defends it easily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dum Phuck hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Watson drives through with a takedown into Phuck's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Phuck manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Watson manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rex Watson.

Watson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Watson wants to stand and escape but instead Phuck has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Phuck is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Phuck seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Phuck's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Phuck drops back looking for a leg! Watson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Watson manages to kick Phuck off! Phuck jumps back into Watson's guard.
Phuck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Watson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Phuck's waist but Phuck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Watson off to one side.
Phuck tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Watson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Phuck shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Phuck lands with some strikes.
Phuck breaks from Watson's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Watson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Watson just trying to survive but Phuck is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Phuck is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Watson is defending well though. Phuck let's go of the attempt for now.

Phuck is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Watson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Phuck slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Phuck gets his hands free as Watson looks to control.
Phuck just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Phuck looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Phuck tries to free his leg and advance position but Watson is retaining full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Phuck shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Phuck is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Watson tries to control Phuck's body but Phuck pushes him off. Watson squirms to his side and now Phuck has his back!

Phuck is working for a rear naked choke. Watson is not defending it well and Phuck has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Watson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Watson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
