The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Greek scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

The Greek tries to bum rush Daniels with a series of wild strikes but Daniels uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Daniels thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on The Greek if he has to take too many more of those.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Daniels, as that shot connected.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Greek rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daniels moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The Greek feints a jab promting Daniels to slip. The Greek then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Daniels slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Daniels fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches The Greek on the side of the head.
Daniels catches The Greek with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The Greek is rocked!
The Greek walks straight into a right hand from Daniels - that's dropped him! Daniels jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save The Greek from any more punishment! The Greek complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Bobby Lee Daniels decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
