Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jo Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jo misses with a takedown attempt - Miller sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A left and a right from Jo both land. Nice combination.
Miller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jo.
Jo circles away from the clinch attempt

and Jo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Miller, up you get!
Miller closes the distance but Jo moves to the side

and Jo counters with a shoot takedown. Miller fights it but they end up in guard.

Jo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Jo stands and steps away. Miller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miller sprawls well. Miller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jo gets slowly back to his feet.

Jo shoots in and drives through. Miller sprawls well.
Miller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Jo shoots for a takedown but Miller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Miller looks to land a combination. Jo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Miller scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Miller lands a slapping body shot.
Miller lands a nice shot to the body.
Jo is breathing heavily.

Miller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Horrible takedown by Jo or perhaps it was just good defense by Miller which made him look bad.
Miller comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Miller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Miller is trying to stand up here but Jo is controlling him well.

Jo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Miller is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
