Madden walks into a jab.

Holmstad rushes Madden and presses him up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Madden tries to pull guard but Holmstad won't allow it.

Madden ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Madden no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Madden looking to hit a scissor sweep but Holmstad is one step ahead there.

Madden had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Holmstad defends it easily.
Holmstad wants to stand but Madden has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Holmstad lands a couple of elbows.

Madden is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Holmstad has his hands clasped together but Madden extends an breaks Holmstad's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Madden.
