Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clay Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hairy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mercer's entrance music is Kid CuDi - Wylin Cuz I'm Young. A fine choice. Kane has chosen Saigon - Bring Me Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane lands with a shot to the body.
Kane avoids a kick to the body.
Mercer throws a solid leg kick but Kane takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mercer.
Kane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hairy Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane needs to keep his hands up - Mercer had a free shot at his head there.
Mercer ducks under a wild hook from Kane.
Mercer scores with a body shot.
Mercer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kane has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mercer slaps away a takedown attempt from Kane, before circling back to the center of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mercer throws a shot from downtown. Kane moves away and avoids it.
Kane misses with a hook. Mercer ducked under it nicely.
Kane doesn't manage to clinch there - Mercer circles away.
Good work by Kane as he checks the leg kick.

Mercer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Mercer takes one to the side of the head.

Kane throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Mercer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No joy there for Mercer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jab, jab by Mercer - just one landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kane, right into the meat.

and Kane counters with a low kick, right behind Mercer 's knee.

Mercer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kane was well out of range. Poor timing from Mercer.
Nice sprawl there from Mercer as Kane shoots in.
Kane looks gassed!

Mercer lunges at Kane with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kane's hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mercer. Kane does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mercer.
Kane lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mercer at a distance.
Kane swings for the body but Mercer moves out of range.
Mercer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mercer connects with a single shot there.
Kane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mercer.
Mercer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mercer stuns Kane with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kane takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Kane is rocked!
Mercer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kane is still on wobbly legs! Can Mercer finish him?
Mercer misses with a series of wild punches.
Mercer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Kane throws a shot from downtown. Mercer moves away and avoids it.
Mercer fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kane to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kane looks to clinch but Mercer throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kane taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
