Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Turner struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Turner!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter lands with a slapping head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Turner.
A head kick by Carter misses
and Turner moves into the clinch.
Carter has Turner pressed against the cage, preventing Turner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Turner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Carter after a bit of a struggle.
Carter breaks from the clinch.
Turner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mike Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Turner.
Turner avoids the head kick by Carter.
Carter throws a head kick that misses.
Turner gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Turner is trying to push Carter away but Carter has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Carter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Turner tries for a takedown but Carter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Carter throws a nice head kick!
Turner misses with a two punch combination.

That kick from Carter tenderised Turner's leg. Turner is trying to keep his angry face on.
Turner rushes Carter and presses him up against the cage.
Carter with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Turner is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Carter pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Turner fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Turner pushes off an throws an elbow but Carter leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Carter throws a knee to the head but misses.
A frustrated look appears on Carter's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Carter breaks the clinch.
Carter lands a left and a right that send Turner crashing to the mat, dazed. Carter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Turner is rocked!
It looks like Eric Turner has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turner moves into range and clinches up with Carter.
Turner is still on wobbly legs! Can Carter finish him?

Carter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carter throws a shot to the body.
Turner looks gassed!
Carter shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Turner takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Carter sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Turner bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
