The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macklin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Morton throws a right and a left that both miss.
A head kick misses from Morton.
Macklin scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Rocky Morton has been cut.
Morton throws a head kick but Macklin moves out of range.
Macklin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Morton slips under a jab.
Macklin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Macklin misses with a wild combination.
Macklin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Macklin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morton throws a head kick that misses
and Macklin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Morton is rocked!
Morton drops his hands for a split second and Macklin immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Morton face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Macklin follows up with a right hand that knocks Morton into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
