Jones has chosen P.O.D - Boom as his entrance music. Jon Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Gubiev to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Gubiev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gubiev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
