The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Na Area misses with a two punch combination.

Coutinho shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coutinho tries to pass to full mount but Na Area defends it.
Coutinho passes the guard and advances to mount!
Na Area trying desperately to get to his feet.

Coutinho looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Na Area is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Coutinho is working for a guillotine from mount but Na Area frees his head quite easily.

Na Area tries to bum rush Coutinho with a series of wild strikes but Coutinho uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Coutinho shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coutinho showed some decent athleticism there.

Na Area rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coutinho moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Coutinho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Na Area misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Na Area, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Coutinho misses with a takedown attempt - Na Area sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Coutinho has hold of Na Area's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Na Area seems comfortable defending it but Coutinho has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Na Area is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Na Area is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Coutinho couldn't care less - he's delighted!
