Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aewult Byrne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ironman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Cedric Steele enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Byrne misses.
Byrne avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Byrne is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steele.
Byrne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steele moves away.
Steele throws a leg kick but Byrne sees it coming and moves out of range.
Steele displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Aewult Byrne has been cut.
Steele fails to land with a series of punches.

Steele lands a nice hook to Byrne's body. Byrne takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Byrne wants to pass the guard but Steele is keeping the position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

and Steele counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Steele throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Steele lands a nice hook to Byrne's body. Byrne takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Steele moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Byrne takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Donk. Steele catches Byrne right on the button with a cross.
Byrne throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steele.
Steele dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Byrne wants to slow Steele down by chopping away at his legs.
Steele scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Byrne doesn't seem bothered though.

A left lands for Steele.
Byrne throws a hook to the side of Steele's head but Steele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Steele's corner calls for a 1-2. Steele obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Steele counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Byrne throws a series of punches but Steele avoids them all with ease.
Steele closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Steele lands in his opponent's guard.
Byrne looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Steele has picked Byrne up and slammed him! Byrne can't keep hold of the triangle and Steele manages to pass to side control!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Steele throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Byrne tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Steele is in Byrne's guard.

Steele is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Byrne defends it well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aewult Byrne.
