Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Travis Lucas Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lucas Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lucas Jr is looking to chop away at Takamura's legs.
Lucas Jr blocks a head kick by Takamura.
Takamura takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Takamura throws a hook but Lucas Jr blocks it.
A punch combination from Lucas Jr misses.
Lucas Jr scoring well with a low kick there.
Takamura sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lucas Jr throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Lucas Jr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Takamura misses with a wild body shot.
Takamura takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lucas Jr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Takamura's head.

Lucas Jr tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
