Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kusok Govna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem comes to the cage accompanied by UFC - Face the Pain . Govna has chosen Morbid Angel - Day of Suffering as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem with a nice cross.
Govna moves out of range as Overeem strikes.
Govna works over Overeem's head and body with a nice combination.
Overeem throws a jab but it's blocked by Govna.
Govna takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Overeem connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Govna swings for the body but Overeem moves out of range.
Kusok Govna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Overeem, as that shot connected.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Overeem lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Govna has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Govna and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Govna misses with a takedown attempt - Overeem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Govna is nestled in close to Overeem, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Govna seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Overeem does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Govna is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Overeem is just riding it out for now. Govna eventually gives up the hold.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kusok Govna hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Overeem is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Govna.
Govna shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Overeem but Overeem pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Govna holds on and takes a little breather.

Govna has his foot on Overeem's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Overeem works his way back into a safe position though.

Govna pushes a forearm under Overeem's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Overeem is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
